This will help you to make an informed decision about your pump of choice. You may also trial a continuous glucose monitor, if required, to make sure you get the most out of your pump. You may also have an appointment with Rebecca to discuss carbohydrate counting and practical tips to make this easier for you.

Appointment 2

  • Prior to this appointment, Rebecca and Jane will complete your NDSS and pump paperwork. They will also communicate with your endocrinologist throughout the program.
  • This will be your pump start appointment and will roughly take between 2 and 2.5 hours to complete.

Appointment 3 and 4

  • We will catch up either at Nourish or via Telehealth the day after your pump start and one month after to ensure that the pump settings are effective at stabilising your glucose levels.
